We exist to replace that friction with a platform that works for everyone: workers who deserve transparent pay and flexible opportunities, and organisations that need reliable, compliant staff.
CareShift was founded by a team with direct experience in NHS workforce management and care home operations. After years of watching coordinators drown in admin and workers navigate opaque agency systems, we decided to build something better — a platform that respects every person in the care ecosystem.

CareShift Ltd incorporated in England and Wales. Initial product development begins with a team of four.
2023
Beta launched with three care home groups in South East England. First 100 workers onboarded.
2024
Platform expanded to support NHS bank staffing. Series A funding round closed. Team grows to 28.
2025
Over 5,000 workers, 200+ care organisations, and 50 agencies active on the platform across the UK.
